PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

New York Playwright Ron Morris brings us a comedic tale of obsession, "Erotica", and what would really happen if we all took a holiday, you know, some time to celebrate.

Welcome to your not-so-average midtown twelve step! Kevin seems to have a pretty normal life, with one small exception: he runs a support group for people who are obsessed with THE Material Girl. Every weekthey meet to talk about the woman who rules their lives. Louise, haunted by images from "Truth or Dare", Justin, can't escape the tattooed shrine on his back, and James, who just wants to give her some nice flowers, and maybe do her nails. These kids can't get enough of Madonna, until she shows up at their front door...and they lock her in the bathroom. The questions abound. Is she really Madonna? Will they let her go? Can she answer their questions? Will she release them from their obsession? Is she proud of "Body of Evidence"?

April 12th - May 11th, Thur-Sat at 8pm
Sundays (April 28th and May 5th) at 5pm
An 8pm performance on Monday, April 22nd

Will provoke bitter tears of laughter

3.0
Ambitious piece about how far we will go down mistaken paths looking for completion. A parable for my love life? Or indictment of a celebrity driven culture? There is a wry wink behind the zany laughs here. Bravo. [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW]
