PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Process Theatre Company proudly presents the World Premiere of Topher Payne's "Christina Darling." This innovative multimedia play tells the story of Christina Crawford, daughter of Joan Crawford and author of the infamous memoir "Mommie Dearest." On the eve of the release of the film version of her book, Christina suffers a stroke. Her late grandmother arrives to help her cross over, but Christina rebels. Her grandmother delivers an ultimatum: If Christina is going to survive, she has to face her competing personal histories: the ones created by her mother, a movie studio, herself... and somewhere within, the truth of what actually happened.
