PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Atlanta Stage Write Productions is pleased to announce its Second Annual premiere of Nine plays by Atlanta Nine playwrights, 9 x 9 '08. The nine plays are a mix of comedy and drama and range in story including: two middle-aged ladies shopping for wedding attire and endure "a merry, menopausal series of mishaps," two gun-fighters' disagreement regarding "the code of the west", a man seeking atonement for sins committed during war, and the story of a deceased man and his job assignment with his "little red wagon."
The 2008 playwrights are James Beck, Nick Boretz, Steven Broyles, Raymond Fast, David L. Fisher, Sylvia Davenport-Veith, James Walsh, Bill Wellborn, Marian X. Lucretia Gibbs, whose work is in development with ASWP, is the tenth member of this year's group.
