5.0
Awesome. I can see why this won 1st at One Act. I thought the acting was superb, especially Rico Sisney as the wolf. The singing was even better. Ben Thorpe and Gretchen Gordon as the baker and his wife had great stage presence and perfect chemistry. Gordon had great facial expressions and brought a lot of comedy to the show. Galen Crawley as the witch was wonderful and it gave me chills (in a good way, of course) when she sang "Last Midnight". Notable performances also by Sawyer Armstrong as Rapunzel, Eva Schultz as Cinderella, and Matt Clickner and Scott D'Alfonso as the princes. [POST A COMMENT REGARDING THIS REVIEW]
One-Act competition by Shadrach
Do you know what region Lakeside is in? I'm pretty sure they are in AAA, but just wondering which region.

When I was at Shamrock (back when it was a high school - I was in last graduating class, in 1996), we won first place at the Region 6-AAA One-Act Competition and went to state (and I had the lead and won Best Actor at Region, so that was really cool). That was one of the best times in high school that I had, and I have really fond memories of it.

*sigh* district and state competitions!! by Nettie
I loved district and state competitions in high school!! I didn't do the one acts but I was part of the individual/ monologue competitions in AL. State competitions were held at my high school my senior year! Sigh!! The good ol' days!! Thanks for the happy thought!
