There seems to be a difference in opinion about Dedalus' reviews. One person says he gives his friends high marks while others that he doesn't know or "care about," he gives lower ones. And Uppermiddlebrow says he is consistent, "shading slightly to generous." I guess a lot of people are wondering which is fact and which is fiction. I think the Mah Jongg reviews were made by people who (now I could be wrong) don't attend the theatre very often and could be considered more lay people as opposed to theatre geeks who attend once or more times a week and know the theatre lingo and are more technical in regards to giving a professional theatre critique. Though, everyone is entitled to their opinion, whether they be a lay person or a semi-professional theatre geek. I have to say though, upon looking at the majority of reviews, they are made by new reviewers??
